West Coast Surgical Oncology is pleased to welcome Dr Trevor Hamilton as a new member of our team. Dr Hamilton is a surgical oncologist with clinical and research expertise in the fields of gastric cancer, retroperitoneal sarcoma, peritoneal malignancy and laparoscopic colorectal cancer surgery. He completed medical school at Dalhousie University, general surgery residency at the University of Calgary, surgical oncology fellowship at the University of Toronto, and a traveling fellowship in laparoscopic gastric cancer surgery in Korea. He joins the West Coast Surgical Oncology practice with privileges at Vancouver General Hospital, UBC Hospital and the BC Cancer Agency, and is appointed as a Clinical Assistant Professor within the Department of Surgery at the University of British Columbia (UBC).
