The BC Cancer Foundation / Gastrointestinal Tumour Group announced today that funds from “The Underwear Affair” have been awarded to Dr Yarrow McConnell and the BC Peritoneal Malignancy Program. These funds will be used to develop a database to track tumor tissues donated by patients with peritoneal cancer. The tumor bank and database are coordinated by Dr David Schaeffer, Department of Pathology, Vancouver General Hospital. Many thanks to all those who raise money for The Underwear Affair!!
