VGH

We perform most major cancer operations at Vancouver General Hospital. After surgery, patients recover on the inpatient wards of VGH. Tests such as CT scans, MRIs, ultrasound, xrays, and blood tests are done here. The Emergency Department is used for patients requiring urgent assessment and/or admission to hospital.

UBC Hospital

Many day surgeries and some surgeries requiring a short (over night) stay in hospital are performed at the UBC Hospital. This hospital is located within the Point Grey Campus of the University of British Columbia. You will be given clear directions if your surgery is going to be booked at the UBC Hospital.

Diamond Healthcare Centre

West Coast Surgical Oncology offices and clinic are on the 5th floor of the Diamond Healthcare Centre. Office hours are 8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

The Minor Surgery clinic is on the 3rd floor of the Diamond Healthcare Centre.

Medical tests such as chest xray, EKG/ECG, blood tests, and urine tests can all be completed at the Diamond Healthcare Centre.

Parking is available underground – the entrance is just north of the DHCC building on Laurel Street.
